The dangerous deterioration of the substructure under the statues caused a dangerous situation. In addition the Antiochos statue showed large gaps between the stone blocks. To preserve them, they had to be consolidated and, in some cases, restored.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The risk assessment showed that the statues of Antiochos and Herakles were in imminent danger.
