NDP: Reliefs Transportation
A temporary gravel path was made to enable the transport of the reliefs to the Restoration House. Later on this path became a part of the route for tourists.
All reliefs were treated in advance to reduce the risk of detachment during transport. Double steel frames were custom made to fit every single relief. The double frames were transported to the mountain and put in place behind each relief.
The reliefs were lifted and carefully placed on their frame. After a last check, the frame including the relief was lifted and transported by a truck to the Restoration House. The reliefs were not even slightly damaged. The method proved to be excellent.
